Mac X-Rocks Blush

Blush is a MUST!

Blush is without a doubt one of the greatest parts of makeup application. Blush is nothing to be afraid of. When applied correctly it pulls your entire makeup look together.  I was going through my blush collection, and I came across X-Rocks by MAC Cosmetics. When I first started wearing blush  Mac X-Rocks blush was my number one fav.  I was completely obsessed with it. I was afraid of color on my cheeks so this was perfect for me. It helped me ease into things.  I cannot believe that I forgot all about it. Mac X-rocks blush came out a long time ago with the Neo Sci Fi collection. The blush was LE (limited edition) and is now discontinued. The only place that may still carry it is the Cosmetic Company Store, which is where I got mine.

The color in the pan can be intimidating because it appears dark, and if used heavily can look muddy. However, when applied with a light hand it is absolutely gorgeous.  This is a beautiful copper plum color, and super pigmented.  When applied it gives warmth, and a nice glow. It is great to wear during the summer, but can be worn all year long. It is a great blush for brown girls.  MAC sheertone shimmer blushes are my favorite.  I hope that Mac will release X-Rocks again. I cannot do without it.
